About us
Maasai Women Health Organization (MWHO) empowers Maasai women and children through community-led health services, education on menstrual health and female genital mutilation (FGM) prevention, training of Traditional Birth Attendants, and advocacy against early marriage. Our mobile clinics bring lifesaving maternal and child care to remote communities.

We run regular mobile clinic outreach delivering antenatal care, safe delivery support, immunizations and nutrition services in remote Maasai areas.
Menstrual Hygiene Education
School and community programs reach students and caregivers with practical menstrual health training, sanitary-kit distribution, and dignity education.
FGM Prevention & Survivor Support
Community talks, alternative rites, and counseling for survivors and families. We combine education with referral services and emotional care.
TBA Training & Capacity Building
Training for Traditional Birth Attendants in sterile technique, danger-signs, and referral systems to reduce maternal mortality.
Early Marriage Prevention & Support
Rescue, counseling and school reintegration for girls at risk or rescued from early marriage.
Community Awareness & Advocacy
We engage communities to promote women’s rights, end violence, and support access to health and education.
Our Vision
Reach remote mothers & children
We provide essential healthcare services to mothers and children in hard-to-reach Maasai communities. Through mobile clinics and outreach programs, we ensure no one is left behind.
Support the treatment of a baby at risk
We respond quickly to medical emergencies for newborns and infants, connecting families with treatment, nutrition, and follow-up care to save lives and ensure healthy growth.
Empower girls through education
We help girls stay in school by providing learning materials, mentorship, and support to overcome cultural and financial barriers. Education gives every girl the power to shape her own future.

We engage communities, leaders, and families to raise awareness, challenge harmful norms, and protect women and girls from all forms of violence. Together, we build a safer future for all.
